At OTG Athlete we train athletes of all ages to become strong, fast, and explosive play-makers who can positively impact their team and increase their potential to play at the collegiate level.

We believe in training the total athlete. This means that everything we do is built around improving how athletes move on the field or court while decreasing their potential for injury. In addition, we focus on building athletes’ confidence and self-esteem by providing an overwhelmingly positive environment where young athletes can see a positive return on their hard work.

Our small-group training setup allows for detailed and hands-on coaching which will ensure that every movement is done safely and with proper technique.
 

What Membership Includes:

Speed and movement training to improve on-field or on-court quickness

Plyometric training to allow athletes to become more explosive

Age-appropriate strength development

Injury prevention and mobility training

Increased core strength

What does a training session look like?

Our athlete development program uses what we call a “Collegiate Model”. This means that we focus on building speed and strength within each training session rather than having classes focused on one specific athletic quality. This means that within each session we focus on the following areas:

Pre-Training Mobility Drills & Injury Prevention to help each athlete with their specific areas of need. This is determined based on what is shown in the athlete’s assessment and what is required for the current training program.

Dynamic Warm-Up focusing on building mobility, stability, and activating the muscle groups we will be using that day.

Speed & Explosiveness Training linear, lateral, and change of direction speed training to help athletes become more dynamic mover on the field or court. In this section, we also work on plyometric (jump) training. 

Strength & Power Training designed to get you strong and powerful while following a meticulously designed program that builds long-lasting strength 

Core Strength & Injury Prevention at the completion of each session we spend time building core strength and doing some specific injury prevention drills to help athletes stay healthy. As the saying goes – “the best ability is availability”

Cool Down and Nervous System Reset This is a series of mobility and breathing drills designed to get you into a recovery state and ready to crush the rest of the day

We Offer Two Different Training Options for Athletes

Small-Group Training: Speed, strength, and power training completed in a small group - 8 or fewer athletes. We keep our group sizes small so that we can guarantee our athletes are being coached at a very high level and that each athlete receives individualized coaching, custom corrective exercises, and modifications to fit their developmental needs.

Private Coaching: 1 on 1 coaching that is tailor-fitted to the exact needs of the athlete. This program is designed for anyone new to strength training, returning from an injury, or who has a specific performance goal.
